Table & Cue Maintenance

Pool tables are mechanical objects. Floors settle. Humidity changes. Cushions age and harden. Cloth wears and stretches. A table that played perfectly when it was installed will drift over time, and most of that drift is invisible until a ball that should have gone in doesn't.

Maintenance keeps a quality table playing like a quality table for its full lifetime. A $5,000 slate table that is maintained properly will play better at year 15 than a neglected table at year three. The investment in periodic maintenance is a fraction of what it costs to replace a table that has been ignored.

Our maintenance visits cover re-leveling, cloth inspection and cleaning, cushion inspection and testing, pocket inspection, and a general assessment of the table's condition. For commercial operators like bars, pool halls, and VFW clubs, we offer maintenance contracts that schedule regular visits and keep your floor playing consistently. Nothing drives away league players faster than a table that plays differently from visit to visit.

We service tables and cues we did not sell. If you have a table or cue from another dealer or a used table you bought privately, call us. We will assess its condition and tell you honestly what it needs.

Frequently Asked

How often should a pool table be serviced?
For residential tables with regular home use, a maintenance visit every one to two years is a reasonable baseline. Tables in high-traffic commercial environments like bars, pool halls, and VFW clubs benefit from more frequent attention, typically every six to twelve months. If a table starts playing noticeably differently, do not wait for the scheduled visit.
Do you service tables you did not sell?
Yes. We service pool tables regardless of where they were purchased. Call us with the brand, model if you know it, and a description of the issue and we will give you an honest assessment.
What does a maintenance visit cover?
Re-leveling, cloth inspection and cleaning, cushion inspection and rebound testing, pocket inspection, and a general condition assessment. We will tell you what we find and what, if anything, needs attention beyond the standard visit.
Can you offer a maintenance contract for our venue?
Yes. For commercial operators running league nights or regular billiard programs, we offer scheduled maintenance arrangements. Call us and describe your venue and table count and we will put together a plan.
